Tuesday, May 30th, was the iolani62 Annual Memorial Golf Tourney and Hosted Luncheon at Hawai’i Prince CC in Ewa Beach. 

At 6:45 am, three foursomes met on the lawn next to the putting green, as Nathan Wong (‘62) gave a memoriam prayer for those 62ers no longer with us.

It was a beautiful morning and the start of a very auspicious day. 

About 11:15 am, the golfers started to arrive at the Clubhouse), by groups,  and were greeted by (18) non golfers:

Everyone ordered their choice of Entrée from the extensive Bird of Paradise menu.

Following Lunch, there was 5 minutes  of silence for the reading of each deceased classmate (25), preceded by the sounding of the gong. 

Special acknowledgment, for attending, was given to Faith Shibuya (Steve), Tamami Muraoka (Walter), Lani Ozaki (John) and Myra Ozaki Okimoto (John Ozaki’s sister). 

Prizes were distributed by Chester Ching, as everyone continued to socialize. 

Guests started to leave about 3:30pm

Special Mahalos to Stacey Sukita (‘82) and his Team.
