Patrick (Pat) F.P. Chai
September 11, 1944 to April 16, 2019
On Sunday, March 8, 2020, a Celebration of Life was hosted by the Chai Family of Roswell, Georgia, at 5:30pm, St, Peter's Epicopal Church, Honolulu.
Daughters, Cathi and Sara; son, Mike and Pat's partner, Martha Alm, greeted guests.
Attending iolani62-ers included Colin & Pam Leong, Creighton & Laureen Kudo, Milton Tsuda, Dickie & Pui Lau, Chester & Evie Ching, Pat Tom, Roland & Janis Chun, Walter & Tamami Muraoka and Leighton Liu & Sheryl Tashima.
Those unable to attend sent their regrets:
Joe Davis: Regrets as I send my deepest sympathies to the family of one of Iolani's great guys. Malama Pono.
Alan Maii: ... I deeply regret not being able to attend Pat's remembrance celebration. Pat was a special person, during his years at Iolani and also in later years when visiting his island bound mates, smiles and lots of laughs. May his spirit Rest In Peace. Aloha me pumehana.
